They can not post the winners until all of them have been notified, and all the prizes are accepted, some of the prizes require you sign some acceptance papers because the winner is responsible for the taxes and sometimes prizes get turned down for that reason, so new winners have to be choosen and then they have to wait for that paper work.Thats why it may take awhile. At least thats what they told me when I won.

Did anyone besides me notice the posting of the DEC/JAN winners stated that all had won a STEEZE combo. I had received a letter saying I had won a Daiwa Megaforce and I have received it I am very happy with it. Works great. But,,, when I emailed them pointing out the error, I was insulted by Laura with a comment like, can't I read? Yes, Laura I read quite well but your notice stated we had all won the Steeze Combo. I did notice today that you have corrected the winners list and I thank you for that. How about an apology for insulting my intelligence. Thanks again for the nice reel. Tom

Why does it take all of the clubs 6 months to post the winners? Get it together guys. Starting to look like something shady is going on. I enter every day and haven't seen any winners from MA until this list and then it was only 1 small item. Are we making sure all the good stuff goes to friends and relatives or what? We fish in New England too ya know. Love the club, hate the lousy webmaster.

You guys need to pull it togetter. You haven't changed the contest for the month, you don't update the contest winners, and the member store item has'nt been changed in at least a month.

The thing that gets me is I have been a Life Member for 12 years and never ever won anything from NAFC, I may be whining but you think about it for a second wouldn't it make you wonder how they are picked especially when you sign up online and never even got 3rd place or anything. Well hopefully one day it will happen but I will never get my hopes up. They even had my address wrong at one point, I asked how it happened they said oh just a small error so then it got me thinking well hopefully I didn't win anything because it wouldn't of came to me anyways it would of went to someone listed as me 500 miles away. I didn't get my magazine for like 5-6 months one time and got

Wow. There are a lot of winners. I have entered several times.....when I can remember. Come on folks. It is a contest. When there is a RANDOM drawing, please understand. There will be no rhyme or reason as to who wins or on which side of the Mississippi. Sounds like many of you who are entering the contest for the same reason as I am.....to get something for nothing.....are angry that it hasn't worked out. I have a question......do you also write to your local lottery office and complain? I don't play the lottery because there is the risk of a hard-earned dollar, but this contest is free. It only costs you a click of the mouse. I am afraid to win now. I mean really, what's next? Do you intend to hire a Private Investigator and track down the winners names and make sure they actually won something? If you get that bent over the contest I suggest you don't play......of course I only say that because that would certainly increase my chances of winning. I hope you all have a great week, and catch some fish.....on either equipment you have paid for or not.

Fasinating! I reviewed all of the winners back to February 2007 and noticed that only once, did anyone from Arizona (Surprise, AZ, Congratulations at least you won half of what they said you won) win anything and that was Dec/Jan 08. I'm currious as to how many members does NAFC have in Arizona? I know there are a lot of fishermen/women that live and are actively fishing in Arizona. There are enormous fishing oportunities to catch nearly every type of freshwater fish in the U.S. and even some fish that are not found anywhere elses in the U.S.. While traveling the state fishing, I notice just about every stype of fishing, from spinner, baitcast, river rigs, fly fishing, kit fishing, almost everything that you would find in a catalogue, you'll find in Arizona. Further, many people from the cold northern area's as far away as Canada and Alaska come to Arizona, and they fish here. With all that said, would you please give me the number of NAFC members that are in Arizona. Also, if possible, would you give me the number of members that live in Zip Code 85635 or within a 30 mile radius? I know I'm not the only one as I find many stickers on the back of vehicles and a few are life members. Who knows this could give us the oportunity to make a membership drive or something of that nature. But curiousity of numbers that live in AZ and around the zip code I would greatly appreciate. Wher's my magazine? I havent received one in two months. I'm a life member. What exactly am I paying for? Also, I agree that the winners should be posted soon as possible. The members are the backbone of this "club". It wouldnt be a club without us. We are not asking for alot, just some recognition. Maybe send us a pack of hooks, sinkers or floats. Anything to let us know yall give a damn about your PAYING members. I know yall give some stuff away but what about the people that have been trying for years and all they have to show for it is complaints. I joined because i love fishing not to get free stuff; but this is a "club", full of friendly people wanting to share tips on fishing. It would be a shame to lose that over yall pissing people off.

Personally, I'm not as concerned with winning myself (but it would be nice), but as has been stated over & over I would like to know WHO DID win! Not only the monthly/quarterly contests, but the photo contests as well. The Catfish Photo Contest ended in July & still no winner announced. I contacted NAFC & they told me that they don't post the winners of the contests until all of the winners are reached & this can take up to a couple months. Well, if that's true then you need a better system. Seriously, how long does it take to send out 20-30 emails telling someone they've won a contest. For me (and apparently many other members), this is definitely the biggest issue that needs corrected about NAFC. I feel this is especially true since you lure members into the club by touting "Win Prizes" & "Enter our Contests". Just choose & post the winners in a timely manner. That's all I'm asking.

I agree with all the comments. Seems like they don't post the winners and I have been a member since forever and have not won anything or been chosen to test anything except bug juice that I had to pick up at Gander mtn. Yet they want me to be a life time member.
