The April 2007 Click & Win Prize was a Hobie Fishing Kayak. Why is the winner not listed? I e-mailed NAFC enquiring about it just after the contest and got no reply? Was it awarded to anyone? Or did I waste my time entering the contest everyday that month?

there seems to be the same problem with the NAFC as the NAHC. I am a life member in both, and neither have been updating their winners. I wonder if they are all out spending our dues together on some combo hunt/fish vacation!! I do enjoy the Mag though!!!!!

It would be nice to find out who won last month without having to wait 5 months for those results! I've only been a member for a little more than 2 months and I'm already very unimpressed with this fishing "club". The only thing about this website is the knot wars. The magazine really isn't written well either. I love my Bassmaster magazine and I don't think I will be renewing with this club.

I buy the magazine, log onto this site almost everyday, enter the contests almost everyday, but still haven't seen any recent winners posted. I know a mag this size should have competent writters and people running it, so why the delay in the postings? I also haven't seen any winners from the state of West Virginia. Guess we just don't count here and after this post I can probably count myself out of ever winning anything. I trust all the comments will be taken to heart and a remedy posted in the near future.

I too have to agree, I haven't seen any members for 2008. I see by the postings that others also enter the contests, but I'm not seeing the fruit of our labors. Guess I should quit wasting my time participating in contests that never go anywhere and just go fishing. Looks like you guys don't think New Mexico is part of the U.S. and don't have any fishermen.

I CERTAINLY HOPE THAT NAFC REALIZES THAT THEY HAVE ALOT OF UNSATISFIED MEMBERS AND FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE SAYING "CHILL OUT" YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY OF THE C.E.O OF THIS COMPANY THIS SITE IS ACTUALLY REALLY NICE FOR THE MEMBER FELLOWSHIP BUT AS FAR AS THE MEMBER BENEFITS IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. THIS PARTICULAR SITE HAS A LOWER RATING THAN ANY OTHER SITE ON THE ENTIRE NAFC. WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM. I KOW I CERTAINLY WONT PAY FOR ANOTHER YEAR IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY. NAFC- GIVE AWAY SOME OF THE HARD EARNED MONEY THAT GETS SENT YOUR WAY BY THE THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS THAT BELONG TO THIS REDICULOUS CLUB. WHAT A RIP OFF...NO ACTUALLY A JOKE...

Hey guys. I posted on the other winners list as well. I have entered this contest sporadically at best so I really don't expect to win. When I remember I peruse the list of items to be won, click the button on the mouse and spend a moment or two daydreaming about being able to collect something I win. Then I get on back to whatever task I need to be doing. Do all of you write to the Power Ball or MegaMillions lotto folks and complain that you haven't won? Do you complain that no one you know has one? It makes more sense to me to be angry over not winning something that cost you a dollar, than to be angry over not winning something that cost you the click of your mouse. I looked at some of the dates given by the posters. One was as far back as 1990. It only costs a little more than 200 bucks to be a life member. It costs regular members a buck a month. Not a lot of revenue for producing a magazine, maintaining a website, paying salaries, med benefits, etc. I joined because I am a fishing enthusiast. I have found an absolute god mine of information on this site, not from NAFC but from you guys. On the message boards I have read about people caring for each other and sharing valuable fishing tips. For me anything else is icing on the cake. You guys are what makes this site worthwhile. Don't spend time being angry over random. I hope you all have a great week....and go catch some fish.

Im not asking for handouts or to win something(dosent seem like yall like giving stuff to NC anyway) just keep stuff updated and maybe get make sure everyone gets there magazines. Y'll havent sent me mine in two months. I'm a life member. What am I paying for?

I have been a member for a while. I recently upgraded to a life member. I got the reel but not the rod. Got a letter in the mail and it said when I pay my life membership fee in full I will be able to get the rod. I paid my membership in full months ago. And whats this about a magazine? I have never seen one. It feels like I joined a book club. I get sometimes up to 5 books sent to me to purchase a month !!! I was looking on the web site complaints board about chicken jerky from China when I ran across pages of complaints about this club. I guess thats called hindsite. Well maybe after 30 books and alot of money I'll get my rod. A magazine would be nice.

What's this? I look on here and all I see are complaints. I've been a life member for about 10 years now and just started to get my magazines again. Seems I forgot to change my address somewhere along the way and when I caught up NAFC apoligized to me. It was my fault and they apoligized!!! I joined because it's about fishing. If I win something fine, if I don't, tough but I get a fine magazine and comorodorie with people who like to fish like I do. It brought my daughter, grandsons, and I together after she was taken away from me 30 years ago. So, as one man said,"can't we all just get along" From Roanoke In.. I saw 3 winners from Fl. so open your eyes or learn how to read!!!!!

As a Life member I have to agree with most of the posts about the lack of winner postings, I've entered the giveaways allmost daily for over two years and have yet to WIN anything. It really does look like you have to live around the Great Lakes to even have a shot at winning, What gives?? As a fully paid LIFE MEMBER it would be really nice to think that this club could/would do a little more for it's members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When do the payments stop? I thought a payed to be a life time member all at once but the payments just keep on coming. There are more payments than gifts. I don't want books and coins with fish on them.I thought I was getting stuff to try out and tell them how I like or disliked the products.

When listing Winners by Month/Year it would be nice to know what the ratio of contest winners were to the actual contest entries received for that month. I don't suppose that would be all that difficult for you to come up with a ratio. Here is what it could look like along with how to determine it: * There were 24 winners for February/March/April 2009 out of 4,000 actual contest entries, a ratio of 3:500 [Example: Determine the ratio of 24 to 4,000] Divide both terms of the ratio by the greatest common factor (24/8 = 3, 4000/8=500) so you can state it this way: The ratio of 24 to 4000 is 3:500 Give it a try...I think many of the membership would appreciate it.

I've been a member since '02 and maybe some day I'll be lucky enough to see my name in the win column. If not oh well,, I'll keep fishing and enjoying the time with my wife and boys. After all thats what it's all about.
