Good morning everyone. Hope ya get him next week Howard!  Pete, sorry to hear the leg is still doing bad. I ended up with one pheasant today before I got too tired and called it quits. Boy I need a dog!!! Kinda tough hunting pheasant by yourself! Not many boats out on the lake today with the high winds. The water is still up but looks like their in the process of lowering it? Well, it be nappy time!

Good morning Frank, Pete and anyone else to pop in. Frank, no hunting on Sundays down here except crow and predators. Pete, the shotgun shoots like a champ, even though I've only shot one shell through it so far. Have a great Sunday all!

Good morning PA, have a great day. I didn't know there is no Sunday hunting in PA. It used to be that way in the western part of NY, from Binghamton west. But I believe that has change but I'm not positive. I know where I live Sunday hunting is allowed.

Morning Pete and all others. Pete, sorry to hear the therapy isn't doing the trick. It really makes me feel bad if you hurt it while we were loading wood. Frank, yep, we're old school down here. There has been talk recently about Sunday hunting but who knows how that will go? Well, I'm in a hole again money wise, I hit a buck on the way to work last night at 55 mph. It's driveable but took out the grill, right headlight and turn signal system, it's head and rack must have come around and smashed in the right passenger door, messed up the a/c lines and hood is bent up. Not sure what else at this point? Pretty sure my insurance won't cover as I have the bare minimum. Looks like I'll be without wheels for a little while.

Pete, I'm hoping to too. Looks like their calling for rain again this Saturday. I was thinking of doing some turkey or pheasant hunting but right now I'm at the mercy of Bruce and he doesn't turkey hunt. He does like his pheasant hunting though. Depends on the weather?

Morning Mark, Pete and all others. Pete, I talked to Ed about getting together for turkey. I have a lot on my plate right now between work and trying to get this car fixed. I think I have one vacation day left but not sure. If I can sometime during turkey season I was thinking of using it on a Friday so I could go up and hunt with Ed on a Saturday. I'll have to play it by ear? Have a great day everyone!

GOOD EVENING ONE AND ALL. PETE I BE GLAD YOU BE PAIN FREE AND I HOPE IT LASTS FOR ETERNITY. ALSO GOOD LUCK WITH THE MRI WHEN YA GET IT SCHEDULED. WELL LIFER JIM AND I HAD A GOOD TIME ON THE WATER THROWING THE BULL AND TALKING BOUT OUR WIFE'S TROUBLES. WE DID MANGE TO CATCH ONE 16" BROWNIE.WE DID HAVE A FEW OTHER BITES, BUT NO ONE WAS HOME. THERE WAS BAIT PODS AND FISH AROUND THEM, BUT THEY HAD LOCK JAW. WE TRIED NUMEROUS VARIETIES OF SIZE AND COLOR SPOONS(EVEN THE ONES PETE MADE), RAPALAS, AND CRANK BAITS. THE PODS WERE FROM 5' TO 40' DEEP. WE EVEN STOPPED NEAR THE CREEK THAT FEEDS IN AND THREW SMALL SPINNERS, LAZY IKES, PHOEBIES, TWISTERS etc etc WHERE THE TROUT WERE RISING WITH NO SUCCESS.
