Taking kids ice fishing.

There is nothing more satisfying than taking my kids out on the ice and watching them reeling them in.What a feeling this is.Here's some pics of my kids with some of their fish.Let's see some ice pics of some of ur kids.Don't know what happened with the pics,it didn't work getting them here from photobucket i guess.Wished it would have worked.

Fishing with Trigger X Lizards-Best of the best

The new Trigger X baits are of my opinion the best on the market. I use the lizards brand of these baits and I have found them absolutely amazing. I cast my first cast with the lizard and before it ever hit the bottom I felt a heart stopping hit although it was only about a 2 pound bass how hard it hit was unbelievable. It wasnt but three cast later and here came another hit except this time i reeled in about a 4 and a half pound largemouth I have posted this picture below. I would recommend this brand of soft baits to anyone who fishes there absolutely my favorite.

Daughter's first salmon and biggest fish to date

I took my wife and daughter salmon fishing for the first time on the Sacramento River here in CA. I talked to folks on the right technique, locations, tips, etc. in hopes of putting us into some salmon during this fall's run. Well, after a 4 hour drive and a mostly restless night in the hotel, we launched my boat only for my daughter to reel in this nice chrome chinook salmon. We were trolling both Kwikfish and Flatfish, seeing as how I couldn't decide which ones to use. She was sitting at the back of the boat while I drove and as soon as the rod went off, she was on it. My wife had the job of reeling in the other rod and handling the net. Not a monster fish, but it certainly made her day.

A trophy for the mental trophy case.

Fishing the Eleven Point River in southern Missouri last Sunday. We stopped at one of our camping spots near Barn Hallow for lunch. I tied on a Rebel Teeny Craw deep diver. On my second cast this monster hit like there was no tomorrow. I saw it roll and immediately became concerned about my 6lb test Stren. We usually catch 10-12 inchers from the hatchery and they taste great, this was the biggest fish any of us had ever seen on the river. This one I had to put back. It was 7 pounds and 25 inches. I definitely consider this a trophy.

IHSA state finals

my team qualified for Illinois high school state finals this weekend on Carlyle . Our 2 guys that went out on Friday lost several big fish and ended up with an 8 pound limit that put us in 41st out of 58 boats. On day two things got real tough, but we adjusted well to sack 14 pounds and moved up for a top 20 finish. Here's me with a couple of our bigguns.

My daughter, Michelle, just caught her personal best rainbow last weekend. It's a trophy, in my opinion, but it was caught while she was fly fishing, which makes it even better. Man, I'm a great guide.

yesterday me n my friend andrew walked the river by my house and we also fish some tiny ponds on the way down. We caught numerous trout, largemouth, smallmouth, Rainbow, Brook, Tiger, and brown trout. We also caught a couple nice crappie. My friend caught the biggest of the day. A 20inch largemouth.

Kali Gallo of Central Pa. caught these two beauties. First is a 10lb Largemouth and second is a 5lb Smallmouth.............eat your hearts out guys! BTW she returned both to the lake they were caught from. Great fishing Kali!

Hello all. I went down to Washington D.C.This morning and got skunked on the Hickory Shad. But at the end of the day we didn't go down in 30 mph winds to play with the Shad.Good friends on any day is good times. ENJOY!!
