My name is Chris. I am an elementary school teacher and spend just about every weekend and all summer fishing. I am always looking for new people to fish with. I live in Ann Arbor. I have a boat and have access to many great fishing areas. I have been fishing these areas since childhood and have plenty of successful experience. January: Ice fishing in Michigan - Saginaw River for walleye, Fletcher's Floodwater for pike and panfish, Avalon Lake for splake and lake trout, various inland lakes

February: Ice fishing in Michigan - Saginaw River for walleye, Fletcher's Floodwater for pike and panfish, Avalon Lake for splake and lake trout, various inland lakes

March: Walleye fishing in the Maumee River OH, Steelhead fishing at the Tippy Dam on the Big Manistee River and in the AuSable River.

April: Walleye fishing in the Maumee River and walleye fishing in the Saginaw River and the Tittabawassee River.

May: Walleye Fishing on Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay, Splake fishing on Lake Avalon.

June: Walleye fishing on Saginaw Bay, Smallmouth bass and splake fishing on Lake Avalon, Pike, Largemouth bass, and panfish fishing on Fletcher's Floodwaters

July: Smallmouth bass and splake fishing on Avalon Lake; Pike, Largemouth bass and panfish fishing on Fletchers Floodwaters

August: Salmon fishing in the Upper Peninsula

September: Perch fishing in Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay, Walleye fishing in Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay, Salmon Fishing in the Upper Peninsula, Salmon fishing at the Tippy Dam on the Big Manistee River.

October: Perch fishing on the Saginaw River, Walleye fishing on the Saginaw River, Salmon fishing inthe AuSable River

November: Whitefish fishing on Tawas Bay, Walleye fishing on the Saginaw River

December: Walleye fishing on the Saginaw River.

My name is Chris. I live in Bay City, MI. I spend close to 100 days per year fishing. I live very close to Saginaw Bay and the Saginaw River. I also fish the Tittabawassee River regularly. I have a 15-foot Sylvan with a 25-horse outboard. Including myself I can take up to 3 people out on the boat at a time. I can’t make long runs on the bay but I can fish close to shore safely. I am a second grade teacher so children are welcome to come. I am willing to trade the following fishing opportunities for fishing or hunting trips anywhere:

· May-August Walleye Fishing on Saginaw Bay and in the rivers

· April – September Sunfish/Bluegill fishing

· June – August Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike Fishing on Fletchers Floodwaters.

Visting family in Michigan around the 4th of july time frame in Tawas MI. Would like to go out salmon fishing. If not what is best for fishing in Lake Huron around that Tawas area. In return I will provide a trip on the Texas coast bay fishing for seatrout and redfish. I have a fully rigged boat and all the toys.

Michigan Spring Steelhead Fishing

Hello everyone,
This is actually my first post and I am a new life member (just got my personalized rod today!) Anyways, I live in southcentral Michigan (Hillsdale County) and would really like to try steelhead fishing in the rivers this spring (the St. Joe is closest), but I have never done it before, so I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has experience in this area and would be willing to show me the ropes. I do lots of other fishing, but have never caught a steelhead and I would like to! Also, I am a teacher, so I'm on spring break starting tomorrow, April 4th, through April 13th, so if anyone can go this week, that would be great!!! Thanks in advance and good fishing to everyone! Fishing Insturctor Workshop

I have contacted the DNR with a request that they hold a Workshop that certifies Anglers to instruct others to fish. I tried to get into the one in Stevens Point but they were full. This certification gives you access to information and equipment to properly instruct the new anglers. I have not yet approached anyone for a place to hold it, but I was thinking the Sparta/Tomah area. There is a refundable 15.00 fee to ensure that you show if you register. Please let me know if you would be interested in the Workshop, and what day would be good for you. It is a one day event. Just need to know if we have interest in this. We are currently planning on a March workshop. Those that are interested please PM me with your name and where you live. Also if you have a prefered time (ie Month) that you would like to attend it will be considered but will not be the primary factor in determining time. If there is enough interest we may schedule more

Taking a Kid fishing

I'm looking for some help. I'm wanting to take my oldest son (age 13) and possibly my youngest (age10) fishing. They live in Texas and I live in Iowa. I would like to take them fishing for something different that what they can catch back home. It would have to be in June or July since that is the only time we are together. My oldest loves to fish but he is at that age when all he dreams about is catching them big ol' fish. He tore his ACL this past football season and the Dr. suggests we wait until he is at least 15 to have the surgery because he has so much growing to do. Anyway we have noticed that his attitude has changed alot since getting this information. He loves football and not being able to play seems to have sucked some of the life out of him. I would love to take him on a trip for some big pike, walleye or something that he doesn't catch back home. The problem with taking him on a guided trip is pure financial. Whether I fly them here or drive down and get them it just limits me financially. I know there are alot of opportunities around this area I just don't have the experience fishing for these species. Back home it was bass and catfish all the time. If the opportunity comes up I would also like to take my youngest with. He's not much into fishing unless we are catching alot of fish. In taking him with would be hopes of getting him more interested in fishing and hopefully get my oldest something to look forward to and hopefully pick his spirits up. I could go on forever but I'll shorten this up.

I've been I life member since 1994 and was on the site alot before it changed. Hunting season came along and that is what I've been geared torwards. Hunting is pretty much over except for the spring turkey season then it's all fish. God willing I know there is someone out there that can help me with this situation. If not God smarter than me and he knows what's best.

I live in Mechanicsville, Iowa. It's about 30 miles east of Cedar Rapids. Thanks for your time and any help.

non boater who would like to fish a bass tournament once in my life. live in st louis mo but willing to travel a reasonable distance to fish. looking for a buddy tournament because i tried joining a club twice and never had the chance to go because of the large numbers of non boaters in both clubs. willing to share costs am an above average fisherman with lots of good equipment and some excellent equipment who unfotunately does not own a boat
