Anybody fishing?

I've been fishing a lot lately and just wondering if anybody else is getting out there? In the last month I've been striper fishing San Luis, bass and blue gill fishing Pine Flat, trout fishing Kern River and Kings River and tomorrow morning the Mrs. and I are going fly fishing for bass at Eastman. We like tossing foam frogs and the bass just tear them up. Yeah, we usually don't get large bass that way, but it's still a lot of fun. Once it slows down we'll start tossing Senkos before we call it a day. Back in July I was float tubing for trout on Wishon and float tubing for sand bass and halibut under the Coronado Bridge in San Diego. Now that was a lot of fun.

Sorry, it has been a while since being on the forums. It has been a wild and crazy few months. I have landed in the area of never ending sand, and will be here for quit some time. With no chance of fishing, I have turned the spare time into making trolling lures(wedding rings).

Caught my first bass this past week. Dinks but bass non the less. Fished Kawea and plan to check out Success lake from kayak perspective. Where are some productive spots and what lures work best? I know time on the water is the best advice, but I'm new to freshwater and all I know is senkos work well. Any help will be appreciated.

Ok, I have been to Pine Flat, Hume, Shaver, Wishon and Courtwright... And many others located in the area I live. Now I am seeking new waters to fish. Any tips on where to travel to coming from Lemoore? Looking to target Trout, Bass, Crappie and Cats. Looking for no more than a 3 hour travel there. If you can add a location for that body of water, that would be great.

My family did pretty well fishing for stripers on the San Luis Reservoir back in October and November, but was totally skunked on December 23rd. Anybody else fishing for stripers right now? I posted some pics of your average San Luis stripers.

Hello all, has anyone heard of this??? it's called ( save the stan ) and what the goverment wants to do is drain new melones res... Our gov. wants to drain this res. so they can send water down the river so the steel head and salmon can come up the river to spawn..Also this will take away water for our agricultural in the surrounding area Manteca,Ripon,Oakdale,escalon, modesto.waterford, and the other towns in the area..On top of that we will not be able to fish in the river, And we will loose the great fishing spot in melones res. What is your thoght on this ??? Please give me your feed back....Thanks in adv.
