From what I see not many NAFC Members in Co. know how to type to let other members know how the fishing is in Colorado !!! I'll be moving there mid Nov. and plan to let my adventures be known plus I'll be looking for a fishing partner. Looking for Catfishing tips for Navajo Reservoir. Need Help!

I am looking for some tips on catching nice channel cats in Navajo Reservoir on the Colorado side. Ive already tried Beef liver, Chicken liver, worms, cut bait all with no luck. Worms Will only bring in Bullheads. Does anyone have any suggestions or baits they've had luck on? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

While in the Army...I spent 1 1/2 years in Colorado Springs.

Also saw snow on the 4th of July in 1984

I was wondering if anyone has fished Summit Lake at the 12,000 foot level of Mt Evans. I have been told if you can brave the cold and wind, you can come up with some decent fish.

Tips on Cherry Creek?

Going to try and head to Cherry Creek next week and wanted to hear if anyone had any advice on where to fish and tips, etc. Would like to try for walleye, bass, tiger muskie and wiper. Anyone been catching the last two? I've read a few things about the reservoir but no one seems to be saying much baout wiper or tiger muskie.

Anything would be helpful. Thanks!

I wonder if we could have a get together in Colorado? I tried to get one going a few years ago but there just wasn't nobody that wanted to participate. I think it would be a good time. Would anyone else be interested?

I'm stumped. Now I know Colorado isn't as lively as the saltwater fishing I'm used to... That being said, I've got Fort Collins and NW of Fort Collins mapped out and it's pretty good fishing... What I'm stumped on is I moved to the Denver area in 2006 and still have not found a true honey hole. I'm looking for trout and I know they're around. My fishing time is usually after work so I need an area close to Lakewood. I am well equiped for any kind of fishing and I have found a good crappie hole. Anyone want to trade info?

Fly Fishing Golden Gate Canyone State Park

Anyone do much fly fishing in Golden Gate State Park? Just did a trip up to Eleven Mile Canyon and had a good time. Was looking for somewhere a little closer to home where I could also use my State Park Permit (actually use it's value finally).

Was thinking Deer Creek there, but not sure if it is decent or what. Sounds like all the ponds are just stockers; not sure about all the creeks that go through the park.
