During the Potomac River Monster Cats Tourny on July 14th and our team placed 3rd. I was like 0.22lbs off from having the biggest fish with a female that was 47.6lbs caught at Fort Washington, MD.

Next Tourny is this weekend, August 11th 7p-7a.

I thought it would be cool to start a post of just pic of what people are catching in maryland this year.

So start posting your pics of the fish you catch this year. I would post one right now but I can't catch anything this year (I think that there is something wrong with my fishing rod HA HA). Hopefully after this weekend I should have at least one posted.

Finally Got Out

I've been waiting for the Potomac to settle. It's been raising and falling with crazy frequency. So I needed to get out. So we hit it. I was stained and high but the fishing was ok. I caught 5 Smallies between 8 and 12 inches. My buddy Jeff caught 18 in the same range. Looks like it's only going to get better.

I went out on the Potomac last weekend. I caught 10 Smallies on Saturday in 2 hours (7 between 12" and 15"). Then on Fatherday I cuaght 13 Smallies and a 5lb Channel Cat

i recently went on vacation to Guntersville, Alabama. lake guntersville is the largest freshwater lake in alabama, and has some of the best fishing alabama has to offer. we caught all kinds of fish, including drum, catfish, bass, stiped bass, crappie and others i cant remember. caught a 35lb catfish one morning, as well as a 5lb 20 inch largemouth bass.

Morale of the story, i highly recommend a trip there, if nothing else than to take in the beautiful scenic lake.
