Good morning everyone, looking forward to the fishing season getting ready to start hard walleye spawn for a few weeks then the whitebass/ flathead fishing will heat up then itll be time to hit wipers/crappies, and summer eyes on inline spinners.

Pretty good out there this last weekend. The panfish and cats were hittin on nightcrawler and minnows. Had good luck.

GF&P killing lakes

heard that the GF&P were going to kill off Cottonwood-Steverson and Homevalleye lakes down in the sandhills again, because off the over population of carp. they killed these lakes within the last 5-10 years and restocked. alot of nice fish still in these lakes! there are a lot of other lahes with the same problem, but the GF&P seems to forget them because of the revenue the lakes bring in to the cities around them.

I live in holdrege NE and I am hoping to be able to get out and fish some of the walleye spawn this weekend possibly friday night, if anyone is within an hours drive or so of lake johnson that dont mind bank fishing for spawning eyes, let me know like to go out with someone who has fish on the brain the way I do.

I do a lot of fishing at wall nut creek and there is channel cats, crappie, bluegill, small and large mouth bass and walleye. I go fishing here a lot because it is close to my house. I have had a lot of luck here. if anyone comes here to fish, tell me how ya did.

guessing the spawn is about 2-3 weeks off.

Alright second try here. Anyway I will be moving to Cheyenne this summer from ND (military) and my wife and I are interested in getting a seasonal campsite or possibly a moblie home. If you have any info you could share regarding the lake (not asking for your spots just general tactics) or you have some info about the seasonal campground situation let me know and in turn if you're on your way to Devils lake I would be willing to help you out since I've fished it for the last 4 years.
