WOW had about 2 inches of snow Tuesday morning. Maybe spring is not here yet. Anybody been doing any fishin around my area of Gillette? If so have ya been catchin any thing? Shoot any body been doing any thing around here?

Hey all. looks like this Wyoming site sure could use some people on it. Course I ain't on here much myself. Anyway I gots me some fishin stuff today at Cabelas so amy I can get with the fishin program now that the ice is gone. but still to much snow on the old mountain to git up there to them good lakes. Oh well summer is a comin.

I think winter has got here. Got a skift of snow on the ground and gets in the teens at night. But suppose to be in the high 40's tomorrow. Anyway it is getting closer to ice fishing season and looking forward to it. maybe I'll have better luck at it than I did this summer.

Greeting again from The wild west. Weather man is saying rain and snow for this weekend here in Wyoming. I say come on ice fishing. Maybe the ice fishing will be better than the fall fishing was. Then again maybe it was just my luck as usual with nothing caught.

Typical Wyoming weather. The next few days is back in the 80 degree mark. Leaves are turning and nights are in the 40's. Done some fishin on the mountain and my luck with nothing caught. Has to be this craxy weather. The fish don't like it either.

I see no one has checked in from Wyoming since I posted last. Well winter is in the air. Was up on the Big Horn mountain for three days this last week. No fish caught but did see a lot of critters such as deer and elk and turkey and moose and bear tracks. Mornings were cold and windy and cloudy. No ice as of yet. Was quite a few people fishing but no one was haveing much luck. A few trout caught but no very many.

Went up on the Big Horn Mountain ta couple days back. Went to tie hack and tried my luck for some trout. Wind blowing about 90 mph and no one was catching any thing. People was even trying some fly fishing but no luck. Even though the fishing was no good it was still a good day on the mountain and out of town since it was around 90 degrees in town.

Went out there a couple days back or so and never even got a bite. Wind blowing hard and bank fishing just don't cut it when the wind blows your line back to the bank. Oh well never did have much luck at keyhole anyway. Waiting on the snow to melt then I'll be on the Big Horn Mountains the resr of the summer. Fishing and playing.

Went out to lake yesterday bite is still slow wife caught a 14 inch northern i got a 1bs and 1/2 small mouth both on jigs and minnows

It started here bout noon today and has been raining hard every since i notice donkey creek is raising as i live on the banks of it which is great news for Keyhole BILL

I called the anchor bar in pine haven today the lake is bout 2/3 open from pats point south is all open and the pine haven boat dock is open so it finally starting to warm up a bit BILL

Howdy everyone in the wild west of Wyoming. Well spring is just around the corner and the fishing is going to be the best ever here in the north east corner of the state. Just a reminder to get your 2010 fishing liscenses if you haven't all ready and check out the tackle so it all works when you get to your favorite fishing spot. Nothing worst than a monster fish hooked on and your tackle lets them get away because you forgot to check something out. I am ready myself are you? See you out there fishing.

oh ya----desmet has bigger trout. Nothing unusual to catch 19 inches or better rainbow. You just need to know what bank to fish from and the best time of the year to catch them. Now if you are going for walley and pike and cat fish then go to key hole.

Hey all I live in Wyoming. I would rather fish Lake Desmet. Keyhole is ok but had more luck at desmet. Except for bank fishing catfish at night. then key hole is better.

well i hit the lake yesterday, was very windy choppy and cold its still wide open, didnt catch anything seen a guy get a 4 lbs walleye from shore with minnows BILL
