1) Home Page: My Account link ( top middle of page )
2) My Public Profile ( right side of page )
3) About Me tab ( middle left of page )

Icons next to topics

I would like to know what the various icons next to the topics mean. I tried checking the bottoms of pages for a key, but there isn't any. Aside from the yellow things I'm seeing here as classifications, there are things like thought bubbles, with and without orange dots. What do they all mean? How about including a key in the standard stuff at the bottom of the pages?

How do you load videos on the forums?

How is it I see videos from You Tube in the forums but I can't upload a video from my files?

Now before I start I've got to admit that I'm not the most computer savvy person around, but I am noticing a lot of glitches in the system around here. For instance it seems to take forever for pages to load ( reminiscent of when we used to have dial up internet service ) but we have a high speed broadband connection these days and I watch my wife navigate through her various forums ( she spends much more time on the computer than me...lol and she's much better at these things) yet on her forums the pages load like lickity split, so I know its not because our system is loaded with viruses or something. Anybody else having these troubles? Also cannot seem to get a smiley con into my text block no matter what I try..... whats the deal? I just would like to become more active in the forums, but I don't have the patience or time to wait like forever it seems like to make a few posts.

The forums are in the process of being updated.

This is phase one which makes it easier to add images within your post, change the read order of your posts from first or last at the top and change how many posts you can view at a time on the screen. There is an easier html interface to customize your posts and the ability to rate posts. We look forward to adding member photo albums and other features in the near future.

In the next day or two you should also notice a performance improvement. We've updated the servers that host the forums and expect much faster speeds.

Personal Messaging is temporarily down.

How to save friends

I like to know how I can save my friends list? I don't want to search the members and then just send a email to them! So is there a way or can you make a way to add your friends to my own account?

Is the search feature currently working? I tried and got "No results for....." I would think that this feature will only search the open forum, am I correct? As luck would have it, I am searching for an old thread and with the loss of my PM history and the other changes I'm not having much luck! Tom
