PROS
Solid construction, x-tra long (swept) cranking handle, excellent line capacity, Magforce Z automatic anti-backlash system, free floating spool, & locking side plate for fast spool access.

CONS
It weighs 8.6 oz., not well suited for finesse fishing.

OVERALL
The zillion is a beast with extremely solid construction. The low profile ergonomic design fits nicely in your hand. Allthough I was able to throw baits effortlessly as small as 3/8 oz, it really excells with baits in the 1/2 - 3/4 oz size. The drag is very smooth and has provided me with very consistent performance. Daiwa once again has proven themselves to be on top of their game in terms of producing a quality reel and I personally feel it's well worth the $250.

Never had a reel from daiwa that was worth anything. This one sounds like it is trying to copy garcia's revo. I haven't got to test it, but I doubt it will come close to garcia.

eat, sleep and fish is cheap! He does not know what he's talking about. You probably have your grandpa's hand me downs that's why he can't appreciate the quality of the Zillion or any Daiwa products. I bought the Steez before it came to the U.S. and I love it! well worth the money......

CONS
Solid!!!!!!

OVERALL

PROS
great reel.. great gear ratio.. very fast and well suited for saltwater speckled trout in summer... becuase of the high speed iwould not recommend it for winter fishing down here... but it is very smooth.. and with the high line capacity there is no need to go to a round reel for reds. i usuually fish shimano but decided to try out a dawa and am glad I did.. I may just switch

CONS
the high gear ratio for winter.. perosnally I prefer a heavier reel so ilike the weight but for those of you who are all about the lighter rigs.. this may not be for you.

OVERALL
a fantastic solid product that delivers on its promises.

Six bearing makes a smooth retrive on matter what weight your bait might be, and enables you to take that hard hit without ruinning the disc.

CONS
would like to see it with a single grip handle double might get in the way if you don't pay mind on hand location, and trying to hard to hit your target.

OVERALL
would like to try it. I carry several different rods and reels, looks like it would not take up much room and could be put for easy access
