josterhout Iowa fishermen Been fishing Lake Halice in Urbandale. Mostly Blue Gill and Sun Fish. I did pull out one little Large Mouth. Measured just under 15" and only weighed about 2lbs. Looking for a new spot. This lake is far too mossy and green. They tried using grass carp to clean it out, but some moron(s) pulled them all out and left them on the bank. a day ago

| viking54 julicnik try sunfish or chubs...just use a small wire to slip your line down the middle of the chub and then use a treble hook on your line...run the hook up into the tail of your baitfish a week ago | | |

| dclose pskidad I've been a life member of the club for 10 or more years and it is rare to find a "local". I have fished at Glade Run many times and have done my part to try to help in the restoration. Hope it gets done in my life time. Have fished all the local lakes and this year my son is taking me to Pymatuning for Fathers Day. Hope they are biting. a week ago | | |

| Muskypikegirl pboyce Hi I am not used to the messaging system on this site yet but you posted on my board a while ago asking for tips. not sure if you seen my response or not. i pasted it below.
pboyce Hi, I love fishing!! This year i'm gunning for pike,Walleyes, and Muskeys!! I am non-bait fishing. I fish from Chenango and susquahanna rivers. I have already landed 1 22inch pike, My main goal is at least 22 walleye, any tips or tricks you've had luck with yet?

MuskypikegirlHI. For Musky The bigger and flashier the better. 8ft to 9ft heavy musky rod. Although i have caught them on my little bass pole, just takes fineness and time. www.tacklebooty.com has some really nice and good lures. Mega d lures, spinners etc. musky tend to hang out together unlike pike so when you catch one keep casting there are more around. Pike, pretty much the same but they don't normally run in packs. lone rangers ha ha. Fish the shallow beds as they spawn there and tend to hang around a while and gourge themselves on bait fish. Willow leaf blades on your spinners work great too. Walleye, depends on water temp where im at in NY but they don't prefer too cold or to warm of water. The like murky water, easier to ambush prey. they naturally eat perch, minnows and cray fish so any lure resembling these will work. Jigs are the favorite around here, black ones work good for us. Crank baits ( plugs or divers) work well too. If you use a crank walleyes are attracted to the top or bottom roll ( the side flash) so use something flashy. research the slow death technique for walleye. It will show you how to rig up for a "death roll" that walleye love. If you want to add a bit of scent to your lures check out PRO-CURE. They make some really good oils you can add to your tails or blades etc. Hope this helps a bit. Oh, steel leaders are a must, Tuf line or power pro for your line. Tuf line holds less water and is a thinner diameter . Hope some a week ago
