  • fbaggett scotthuffman i catch smallmouth out of the ohio river to.i use 4inch chart.twister tails wtih quarter ounce jig heads.i also use 4inch white twister tail with a pink quarter ounce jig head.where i fish at on the ohio river it is still a little to muddy.

  • tigers helian69 Depends on how big you like your fillets, or your fish. myself i like 8" or better, but that is me. Do you fillet or just gut and cut off the head? As far as for recipes the sky and your own taste should guide you on that. Also you should keep in mind those who are going to be sharing your catch. Experiment on batters or different flour with different seasoning added to it. Eating should be as fun as catching in my opinion. Good luck.

  • fbaggett gnorris1961 i have had great results with zebco.i use a zebco omega pro zo3 spooled with 6lb to 8lb suffix siege.the reel is very smooth and you get a back up spool which can be switched in seconds.what kind of zebco reel do you own?what size line are you using?
