| |  conniemmmy kids love to fish.. this is their 1st fish of this season. they've come a long way since Feb. when they would reel in the fish but would not get near it.

| conniemm fishing from shore..using blue fox and panther martins caught 5 good size rainbows and 1 brown, while soaking a night crawler and got a tiny rainbow (throwback,lol)

Welcome Tim about 2 years ago  TimAnyone here from the Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Denver, Pueblo area. Trying to get back into fishing but keep running out of time. Anyone know any good areas that aren't to hard to access? I just remember before deploying catching some nice trout at 11 Mile; 1-20" and 1-21" bow with a small spoon on the east side and a nice 19" bow ice fishing with a jig on the south side above the old railroad tracks which I guess they tend to follow during ice over cause we catch a lot there in the winter.

Welcome curtgowdysharkhunter about 2 years ago   butcher42There is a lake here in Washington State near Mt. Rainier called Mineral Lake. The boast it as being the home of the 10# trout. About 20 years ago I caught a 7.5# out of there on the weekend after opening day. I will try to find the picture to post it. It was a blast because I was trolling so with the weight of the pop gear and the angry trout it took a bit.
