 | jtaylor50 went fishing a couple weeks ago. even tho the lake had ice on it it was not very safe in alot of places. when lucy can find a iced over hole and dig down to water to get a little water to drink. Think I will wait a while until it has open water again..have a great day. jt

 | EireFury Still having a bout with the trout-blues here. Most of our waters here in Utah are still frozen and I'm not brave enough to do the ice fishing thing. I'm trying out some new baits and hoping to catch something other than trout. I've been catching mostly little trout, stuff I release. Also managed to catch an old line that had a nice rapala still connected. Gonna put that baby to use after the water warms up. Local word has it that the bass and walleyes hit better when the water warms up to about 50 degrees. That might happen by May or June. Summer isn't coming fast enough, but I got garden prep to do to keep me entertained until then. Fappy fishing all.

Windy here and cpld. keeping me from going fishing. snows and windy up there at curt gody more than cheyenne. the wind chill really makes a big difference on having fun or being misrable. my dog lucy is wanting to go. she keeps pawing the fishing gear...I understand about the trout blues. thought about putting carharts on and going anyways. the road was closed not long ago....rapels are good. not cheap either...I love it when I find treasures.  | Wyoming fishing and camping Welcome to our new members....glad to have you drop in. Lucy my lab still hasnt figured out that froozen ice can break.. she was on her chain and hareness and broke thro the edge of the ice by the shore. last wends. I caught four trout. three rainbows and a brown. the brown was very pink. I love the taste of trout out of cold water right into my cast iron skillet. caught them on a yellow/with red spots ice jig. with samon eggs and worm. I was shocked that the water was only froozen on half the lake. I fished in open water. unheard of this time of year. Lucy is learning. She was happy with half of my roast beef sandwich....and a warm truck....happy fishing jt

| EireFury I am a Utah member who does a lot of camping around the Uintah Mountains and surrounding areas. This is the first year fishing for me and my husband and we would like to know of some good areas in southwestern Wyoming where we can camp and fish, what to catch and where.

| Wyoming fishing and camping Glad I have my lifetime fishing and con. stamp...Just have to go get the annual camping and day pass.. Pretty nice day here. At least the windy is not blowing 77 miles an hour....Checking my gear to go out soon..best fishing. jt
