  • droursler Hello every one I am new to Salmon fishing and Waleye fishing. This was my first year out on the Genesee River fishing Salmon and I got some really nice ones. If you like you can see them in my photo album. I am looking for some that has been around the block a few times to help and my uncle to show us the ins and outs of perch and waleye fishing.

    • thanman08i am really trying to his those large mouth lately but all i can seem to pull out are northern and bowfin(fun to fight) but really trying to find those spots to hit some serious largemouth.....if anyone fishes champlain let me know of some spots around you know of.

  • jhenderson17 well caught a bull head friday and was proof by dec abouth time took 23 years sinxe last time i called them a week ago a guy and lady was taking small bass home told them you can not take them till 3rd week off junesaid june 1the fish was not even sandwich you think i was wrong ?i look at it they should catch and releash i do but the fish was not even keepers and i buy my lincens why should people get to fish for free and keep them even if they dont pay for there linces was i wroung?????????????????????

  • jhenderson17 well no luck not even bite seaweed but not that biad as last time but every time i brought in my bait was cover and sinkers think that was the cause maybe what do you pro fishermen think even my lures ?

    • BooFFar from a pro here but I usually fish the edge of the weed lines if you can find them. When I fish in the weeds I usually toss a weedless jig or use top water depending on the weather and time of day.
