 | LBJNG Dan's Pond has made a full recovery from the drought and many quality fish have survived. Five bass between 2 to 3 pounds were caught today.

| LBJNG A new small pond has been discovered! Stocked full with small bass willing to bite anything. Looks as if it has never been fished before.

 | cdavidson1 Been tearing up the bass out in the grasslands. One pond in particular has lent me over 140 bass in the past two months. Loving this rain!

| LBJNG Sorry for the delayed response! Thank you for joining this group. Fishing has been great out here in the LBJNG. My count for the year is already over 200 fish, and all of those have come from here. The drought did a beating on the ponds and lakes here, but with recent rain, most are beginning to rise again!

| LBJNG Going out to clear lake or cottonwood this evening to try and get some bass or maybe even crappie. I'll post the report for yall!

| LBJNG Clear Lake report: fished for LM on the 14th. Fish had a different agenda this week. Biting on jigs with small crappie crawfish as trailers. Let the fish carry the lure for about 10 seconds before setting the hook as they are small and need time to get it into their mouths.

| cdavidson1 Here are the lakes and ponds available at LBJG: Clear lake 20 acres; Cottonwood lake 30 acres; Black creek lake 40 acres; Rhodes lake 18 acres; Chicken lake 9 acres; Windmill lake 18 acres; Dans' pond 9 acres; Hopewell pond; Rucker pond; Berkley pond; Mesa pond. There is also a private creek that I may give info on location if requested!
