a year ago | |  jjones84Trout Lake pretty close, great bass, big gills and huge perch. It is right by Kent Lake, one of the best fishing lakes in the state.

a year ago | |  jmikoBeen having great luck on the St Joe River in the bays about 5 foot deep with weeds and using an 1/8 oz jig or so suspended under a slip bobber about 3 ft deep tipped with a wax worm. Catching good sized gills crappie and perch. I even landed a good sized carp!

| Michiana Fishing Went ourt fishing yesterday up in the Mottville reservoir yesterday. Between my buddy and myself we caught 34 gills 16 crappies and 11 yellow perch. They seemed to have moved shallower and still biting good on eight ounce jigs tipped with wax worms.

| Michiana Fishing I went out yesterday on the St Joe river for perch and did fairly well, using a 1/8 ounce white jig with a blue metallic skirt tipped with wax worms on a slip bobber about 3 foot down. I would have caught my limit but I ran out of bait. I was fishing upstream of the Mottville dam.

| Michiana Fishing Fished Juno lake in Edwardsburg MI yesterday and managed to land a few. It was a little tough staying out with the rain that was not supposed to be. Did get a few Gills on wigglers and waxies. The wind was making it tough to present the bait as still as they seemed to want it.
