For anyone in Michigan that loves to kayak fish

 | Bassman47312013 hey Guys, sorry I have been slammed the past couple of months. Jjones, Google it there are a lot out there. I was just out last month with www.michigankayakfishing.com on Lake Michigan out at sleeping bear dunes. Doing some king salmon fishing. Had a blast I haven’t been salmon fishing until then. Didn’t have much luck. They really started running the week after witch was a bit of a bummer. But still had a great time there was about 30 of us out there. Was a real good time. If any of you guys are not a member you should check it out. A lot of good info. It’s good to hear that more and more people are starting to get into kayak fishing. If anyone has any questions on installation or anything let me know and I’ll do the best that I can to help.

Welcome jjones84 about 9 months ago  jjones84Fished Spring Mill last night,a nice top water bite started at about 7 and lasted till about 7:30 and I caught 7. When temp started to drop, I switced to a blody nose spining bait with a baby bass fluke trailer and caught my final four bass.

 | Michigan Kayak Fishing Hey guys, sorry I haven’t really been on much lately. I have made it out a good few times this year so far. Got my two biggest bass a little over a month ago. The biggest being 19in and 4.46lbs. I would put up a pic but it never seems to work out for me.

| Bassman47312013 Had a great weekend. Went out sat with www.michigankayakfishing.com hit 3 largemouth and a little pike. Then went out on Sunday with my buddy to a privet lake that a friend from work lives on. Just killed it out there hit 10 largemouth and 3 pike. Now I’m here at work so tired and wishing I was back out on the lake.

| huffmanl43 did some kayak fishing today. caught a couple bluegills about size of my hand and a baby pike 12 inch long. the pike was unexpected caught on a rattling rapala. nice to be in the yak.

| Michigan Kayak Fishing Took the yak out for 11 hours this weekend had a blast. There’s not much better in life. Hit some largemouth on Friday because I was off sick from work and a nice pike on sat. My friend on the other hand. First he left his paddle at home. Won’t be doing that again 70$ later. Then when we got out there about an hour and a half later he got snagged and somehow snapped his rod in half. Real bad day on the lake for him. But good day for me. The moral of the story is 1. Always have a check list before leave home. 2. instead of polling on your rod to try to unsnag it. Just paddle over there and unhook it. Haha well hope everyone had a good Easter.

| Bassman47312013 So I went out last Saturday. It was really windy but I had to try out the new yak. I’m planning on going out tomorrow with some buddy’s and the girlfriend. Should be a good time. Anyone else make it out yet this year.
