 | sfleming7 Just tried ice fishing in eastern Oregon's Wolf Creek Res. this last January and caught some pretty nice trout on buck hair jigs. I was trying to chisel my way through the ice with a 6" knife when after about 20 minutes a stranger came to my rescue with an auger! I couldn't believe it. So now, like the fish i caught, i was hooked! will be looking for some gear through the summer to get ready for more this next winter! Can't wait!

Life is great. I have caught some fish, but I still have bait left.

| jjones84 Ice is getting closer, now down to the 40's at night. Planning on grabbing my ice rods when I go to the cabin on the 13th for one last salmon trolling trip. of the year. Never too early to start working on gear, in Michigan you never know when the hard water is going to come.
