| rgubrud1 MN Ice it is tough go we have had alot of vehicles going threw the ice last couple weeks. Countys are shouting lakes down so that you can not drive on them. Been a bad winter for ice in mn.

| rgubrud1 went fishing in zimmerman mn today walleyes were bitting on crappies minnows and crappies were bitting on pink minnows. I never heard of pinks minnows until my fishing brought some with him this morning. They worked really well. All are fish were caught on the hottest rod on the market Prescion series by tuned up custom rods theses are the most sentive rods I've ever used in 30 years of fishing. Ice was about 10" would NOT drive on ice near Zimmerman to thin for me.

 | njsfishon We have no ice here at Honeoye Lake, N.Y. 1st time in years that I haven't been able to get out on the ice by February. I'm going to try fishing off my breakwall this afternoon - just to get out. There was an ice fishing tournament on a lake near here yesterday. The reports from the lake were that they had 2-3 inches of ice that they needed planks to get out to from shore. The ice would get spiderweb cracks under you feet as you drill your hole and if you sit anyplace for more than a few minutes the ice sags and water comes up out of the holes. They said it was safe though so long as you wore ice cleats, water proof boots, Ice picks to haul yourself up and life jackets. I was thinking it was only safe if you didn't go under those conditions.

| rgubrud1 was out fishing today in MN. It has been warm so there was water on the ice but still about 10 to 12" crappies were bitting good today.

 | rlwilson64 Found about 7" of ice in southern NH on Sun. Caught no less than 15 pickerel 15" smallest and had a blast. Tried the new cleats. Very impressed with them gripped very nice. Big fan of stabilicers right now. Expecting warm temps and rain this week though-next W/E maybe in jeopardy.
