 | rlwilson64 They had 2 on heel and 4 on ball. took the plunge and bought stabilicers with 17 per foot. will be slow and try them out.Head is still rattled and it has been 5 days
a year ago | |  pikebassholeYeah those six spikers r good for walking but try to move quik and they make us trip the ones that have a sole to em r nice sounds like the ones u just got I have never used those but wondered how well they work,almost same thing happened to me last season and like u I only know what my buddy told me it is better to pace yourself than to break yourself ,let us know how they work

| rlwilson64 Was wondering what the best ice cleats would be. Had an ambulance ride first day and first flag up. Lost my feet and only know what my buddy told me happened. Sure would like to avoid this again. I presently am wearing a cheap pair of overshoe with small spikes. Wont be wearing them again.

 | ice angler Made it out in a cove on the mohawk river today caught a 4lb pike,two 3.5lb bucket mouths and a big was perch on all of 3" ice it was great ill try to post a pic u can see the water moving in the backround over the damn

 | rrathbun1 went out to the lake yesterday to check thickness a rock wouldn't go thru but it's not safe for my 270lbs LOL
It's suppose to really cool off this weekend ( southern michigan ) but were suppose to get snow first 3-5" and that will most likely insulate the lakes from the cold.

 | cavemandan went out fishing on the ice yesterday did not catch any thing but it was a great day am going out on sat hope to catch some thing this time, weather temps are getting in to the 40's ice starts melt on the surface
during th day, and refreezes over night. hope everyone can get on the Ice soon.
