  • tjames5 On a two day catfishing trip on the the delta. So far last night I only caught four. They were little bullheads and channels weighing in at no more than 2lbs. Today I'm going at them with my 5wt to see if I can get some on a fly

    • tjames5Well, typically I fish Two Rivers in Tracy near Sturgeon Bend, when targeting river channel cat, bullheads, or stripers. Although I never really catch anything of much size there, I usually catch numerous fish. However, my usual catfishing is at lake Del Valle in Livermore where the average fish ranges between 4-6 lbs with fish 10lbs or more somewhat common.

    • tjames5Also, if you are into fly fishing, I have been able to catch quite a few on flies either on top water or wet flies during late evening at Two Rivers.
