  • jgraham9 Well went down to the river last night to see if I could catch the fish that nearly broke my rod last week. Only caught a 4lb channel cat through the night. Going to return on Saturday to see if I can get him. Going to be using live bait and dip baits to see if I can't try to get him to bite again.

    • jgraham9Will do. There is a nice little hole up that way with a some brush. One of the guys from my area was telling me to also use shrimp during this time of year so I will be trying that also.

    • James90shrimp is real good but also dip bait on the river by that brush will work damn good also

    • jgraham9Yea I always have a good supply of dip bait with me when I go. I normally carry about 7 different kinds that way I locate on what they are biting on and then switch that one. So far they have been going for the catfish dynamite and catfish charlies blood bait.

  • The Whiskers MKPitman Alright, I was down at the lake last night until around 6:00 A.M. this morning. My step-dad and I caught a full stringer of GOOD SIZED cats. It was a good night.
