 | TroutBum99 I'm from the Iron Mountain area originally making me a proud Yooper, and lived in marquette for a few years while I was at NMU. I miss my home lakes and rivers up there. Ive been in Grand Rapids for almost 5 years now and am just in the past couple years finding some places to fish around here without a boat. It seemed like back home there was no shortage of shore fishing spots. Anyone in the greater Grand Rapids area have any ideas where to do some shore fishing that isn't shoulder to shoulder fishing?

 | buckeyestarkey14 Hey everyone. I've been part of the NAFC for almost a year. I decided last year was the year to get back into fishing. Unfortunately, my season was hampered by tearing my rotator cuff. This winter I relocated from Central Ohio to Homer Michigan. I definitely need to find some great places to get my line wet come spring. Thanks all!

 | jjones84 woke up late yesterday,so I decided to fish Spring Mill Pond in my kayak. The fishing was slow, wet, and cold, but I caught my first ever rock bass, and he had 4 friends, they certently are ugly suckers. The surfice temp was 60 but I caught 3 large mouth on top water, I thought they stopped fedding top water when it got cold, a unexpected surprise.

| jjones84 planning on going to Trout Lake this weekend in hope of catch a few nice bass to possibly close out a great year of bass'in in Michigan. Planning on going to my time tested standby, a carolina rig with a gulp crawler and maybe some drop shoting, does anyone have any sugestions?

a year ago | |  michfish1969Man! Luck has a lot to do with it! I have made several attempts to add photos or create albums and put photos in them scince I joined NAFC back in May 2012. It worked once about 3 months ago. I was able to create an album and upload photos into it, so I created another album and again nothing was saved like in the first 50 tries I made. Now I can't even open the 1 album I have to edit or veiw whats in it! I just gave up even trying anymore.
