 | Texas Catfishermen hey ya'll.... has anyone been out fishing lately? I went out to the Trinity River last Saturday and reeled in 6 nice channel cats.... I was fishing the bottom with dough and punch bait... The rumors around here are true so far, the cats do bite better in the winter than the summer...... Anyone want to add to this or deny anything please share so we can all catch more and bigger cats... The largest cat I caught was a 4# blue.

| Texas Catfishermen Sorry I have not been updating the group. Here lately Chapion Lakes have totally dried up, you can walk across the lake beds and find lures now and not even get muddy. The Trinity River is another 4 feet lower and the water is so hot the fish are practically already cooked. Let me know what is going on in other areas that you fish.

 | kgb I fish for big blues on the Brazos River just above Possum Kingdom. The drought has taken a toll on the river. We need some good rains to get the fish back and moving.
