Got my 1st boat its a 1961 12' Alumicraft with a late 80's 9.9 Suzuki dt. I bought a Garmin 150 Echo, deep cell battery and got a very old Minnkota trolling motor "works" for free. Its all hooked up as of now and ready to roll. LET THE FUN BEGIN. 5/11/2012 11:12:10 PM

Shortly after dinner, we took off and headed to the lake. The weather was perfect, 78 degrees, sunny, light breeze. Using only a plastic worm, my daughter proceeds to catch 2 bass in a row, photos in the album. Meanwhile, i'm seating there running crank baits, spinners, and jigs, only to catch nothing, lol. Thinking that my daughter may become my local tournament partner this year, due to the fact that both times we've been, she has out fished me. But what really counts, is not the fact we caught the bass, it was about having that time together, doing something we both enjoy. The catch was a bonus to the day and did not leave us skunked. i found 3 dead shovelnose sturgen in the river today, I contacted the dnr and they didnt believe that I knew what I was talking about so I sent them a picture.bout 5 min later it seemed like every dnr offical showed up on that river bank. They acted like it was an alien 7/21/2012 1:48:56 AM

Waters are starting to come to life in Indiana.had a good day yesterday.was able to boat 8. small bass in about 3 hours.only thing I could get them to bit on was a strike king kvd 1.5 and rick clunn red craw crankbaits.until yesterday green spinners seemed to be the only thing working.headed back out this afternoon.let ya all know how it goes 4/8/2012 2:37:12 PM
