Fishing in Northern Michigan

 | kdderzshemp hay everyone...Hows the fishing so far this year? I went out 2 weeks ago and between my wife and 2 kids we almost limited out and caught 85 Gills. I am looking forward to hitt the water again soon.

| kdderzshemp hay ALl, This year during the National Trout Festival My son Caught FAT JACK in the kids trout pond. It was 23" long and 5Lbs. Man was he ever happy plus he won the prize for biggest fish caught. Hope to see you all there next year!

about 3 weeks ago | |  TroutBum99Congratulations! We were skunked Friday and Saturday, but caught many browns, and small rainbows today. We hooked into 4 Steelies and landed 1. All we had was a trout net though.

about 2 years ago | |  dpeterson84Go deeper. Rule of thumb is that as the weather gets colder the fish move deeper. I am starting to use half ounce jigs while drifting. Sometimes to locate fish quickly troll deep diving baits and then switch to live bait drop-shot style.
