 | California Bay Area Fishing The salmon have been running through Benicia up to Sacramento for spawning. Some of my friends have been catching them on green salmon lures.

 | rqualls_jr anyone in here fish for trout and have any tips im going to quarry lakes in fremont this saturday. and there are some big trout in there earlier this year averages were 8 to 12 pounders. i didnt get one but reports and i saw a few.
about 2 years ago | |  BayAreaDBOI've never been out there before, but when we fish at Lake Berryessa for trout, we usually use shad minnows with bobbers. And when we fish at San Pablo Reservior for trout, we usually use ball on chartreuse power bait on a trout hook and use slider weights. Hope that this info will help you in the future.

| rqualls_jr hey everyone im going to loch lomond this saturday and was looking for any tips that anyone has that has fished that reservior before or just tips in general. so some background on the water theres are lots of stumps and tons and tons of shoreline structure to fish and the fish are very picky one week one color works the next its some other color or its a senko one week and a creature the next week. so any tips that could help would be much appreciated. thanks

My wife is about to pop like any day now with our second child and we've been really busy preparing for the baby's arival. I have never heard of that reservior before, but it depends on what you're fishing for and from boat or shore on what's gonna work. What were you fishing for? I'm gonna try to log into NAFC everyday so I don't miss anything again.

 | BayAreaDBO Went fishing on Sunday night in Hercules. Cought a keeper striper, a few smelts, missed like 5 hits, and lost a BIG something! Felt like a sturgeon. We were using anchovies ( that's what I caught the striper and smelts off of ) and lost something big fishing with grass shrimp and pile worms. Had lots of fun though! :)

| California Bay Area Fishing Didn't have much luck in Rio Visat so we went back to Grizzley Island. Seen a few Sturgeon jump, but non wanted to eat the hooks. Next weekend....Lake Berryessa for bass, catfish and bluegill. :)
