  • rqualls_jr well i went out last sunday with no luck tried everything i could think of found a male in the shallows starting to get a bed together so maybe next weekend will be better to bussy this weekend with easter. and finally made my last payment for my life membership wooohoo cant wait for the pole to get here!!!!!!!!!!!

  • BayAreaDBO I hooked into a nice size sturgeon last weekend out here in Suisun City at Grizzly Island, but then my friend tried to take off my bells while I was reeling it in and lost it. I don't care about my bells when there is a big fish on the line. Lol!

  • rqualls_jr ok any help would be great im going fishing on march 4th for largemouth bass and the water temp has been about 55 degrees and 15feet of water clarity what should i concentrate on for structure and what types of baits??

    • BayAreaDBOI'd fish near toolies and weeds. Use slow retrieving lures such as bass jigs and rubber worms. They will be striking slow because of the weather and water temp. Good luck.

    • BayAreaDBOThey are going be hitting slow because of the weather so I would use a slow retrieving bait such as a bass jig or rubber worms. Good Luck!

  • BayAreaDBO The 1st fish that I caught this year and it was 23in and 4 1/4lbs. Not a bad way to start ou the new year! I caught it in Crockett at the Bass Club off of anchovies.

  • jgomez67 i was fishing on the feather river in a no salmon fishing area but you fish for steelhead there cought salmon and released keeped fishing down the river was driving ou and fisn and game stop me and my son got a ticket because he said my gear was to big for steelhead asked him what is the right size he did not have a answer ......fighting the ticket @#$@ fish and game
