Southern California Update for October, 2009

Our season is actually still good...For fall in San Diego it was a good weekend.  We just finished a free trip for our Military guys, we usually do it twice per year.  This one was a 1.5 day trip.  We had 18 anglers fishing and they caught: 8 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Dorado, 8 Albacore, 7 Yellowfin and 20 skipjack.  Fantastic weather, fishing was a bit slow, but we were speciffically targeting tuna since they are still hanging around.  Normally this time of year we are starting to fish the deep rockcod...but these guys wanted action so off we went. Nice grade of fish, and another boat fishing within 5 miles of us got a sundown bite for 50 Bluefin...Great trip.  Thanks to all our troops for everything they do for us...We look forward to these trips every year.
