I would love to see an article in the next Mag on this topic. I've ran my small 30hp in cold weather, when the nights drop below freezing but I'm nervious about running my bassboat Merc 175hp late in the year.

I seem to get many conflicting reports on how cold is too cold to run it and what to do to protect your engine but I've turned on my TV many times and seen pro's out on the water when its 35 to 40 degrees.

As in typical fisherman obsession I never want the season to end.......Michigan.
