    I really am happy that the club finally  wrote an article  like this .
    there are many in this club that help promote the sport of fishing to are youth .
    And most do so buy donations from others . so we all can help one another out .

    events like this depend on donations and keep kids out of trouble I am so proud of this event and a wounder way for my sons name to live on

    Missed the article but support the cause! I encourage all of my fishing friends to pass their unwanted or unused tackle to me, I either donate it to a fishing partners kind of organization or give it directly to a kid who wants to fish but can't afford tackle. I never have kept track of what I give away, but I probably distribute a couple hundred bucks worth of tackle each year, most of it being hooks, sinkers and other terminal tackle($25 worth of bobbers is the average). I'm not complaining, I figure that if I can keep one child off drugs, it is worth 10 times what I spend. Get 10 people in each county acroos the US to do this and watch what happens to the crime rate!
