I just finished reading the article on bank fishing in the new issue. I liked the article, but thought it could have went into more depth. Hopefully we will start to see more bank fishing articles in future issues. I think everyone enjoys reading about things that pertain to their method of fishing, species, etc.

I think it is great that they are broaching this subject. Most of us start on and continue to bank fish. Although I love kayak fishing I started and continue to bank fish. I encourage more articals on this subject. Maybe people will remember that you don't need a $30,000 boat to have fun getting into good fishing.

I appreciate the comments, guys. Feel free to post your own tips, ideas, tricks regarding fishing from shore--or send them to me via PM. You represent a wealth of collective knowledge and experience, and we'd love to tap into it for the benefit of your fellow Club members.

After 20 years and 18 days in the Navy, I know how evil baots are. Unless I'm fishing from one of my brother's boats, I'll keep my feet on the bank or pier. Give us more print on shore and pier fishing. A list of fishing piers state by state would be nice, both fresh and saltwater.
