I keep reading about updating your profile.  Every time I read it I think I must have done something wrong because when I look at the icons for profile the only thing I see of value is very general like:  interests ==  Fishing!  Can anybody tell me what else there is to do.  I sure would appreciate it!

My biggest gripe is with accounting?  You get billed for things you haven't received at all or long before you do.  I try to keep all my stuff lined up and accounting of all people seem to try to mess it up.  Right now I have a bill for last years DVD's and I have never seen anything about it or them.  When you go from one part of your account to another you find a half dozen different figures for the same item.  I fell for the book thing and like to have never got them paid for.  As usual they keep going up.  Then it was DVD's.  When I paid my life membership dues in full they broke it down to 11 payments at once which sent my credit card company into a frantic thinking someone had stolen my card and was running up quite a bill.  I assured them that was not the case but I may have been wrong after reading the rest of these posts.  I got the little packet of hooks but no form to evaluate them on--nice hooks!  I realize it must take a lot of hooks for 168,000 members--possibly 16,000 packets.  I enjoy trying out new things but that's not why I joined nor did I join to line the pockets of people thoroughly incompetent or management that forgets about the little people that make everything possible.  If we stick together maybe we can make some "changes" but then again that didn't work for the country.  I think I will just go fishing which is why I joined in the first place.  Sorry, for the longevity but at least there is some resolve in getting it off my chest.  Good luck and good fishing! I thought I was upgrading when I became a life member, got most of the things promised except that longed for rod.  I wasn't too worried about the name because my Dad and I have the same name.  But I thought for $300 I might at least get a new membership card that I could use to identify myself to all those deals I do not know about.
