Magazine? What magazine? The last issue I received was an online version. So much for reading it in the doctor's office or on the crapper. Salty Dan |

I have serious doubts if anyone from club management ever looks in here in the forums. As far as the mag, it has always been published in 7 issues, some of which are multi-month issues like that recent one that 'covered' 3 months. In fairness, In-Fisherman is published in a very similar manner. |

This question gets asked all the time ! The club has answered it and other questions under FAQ:
Per the FAQ section:There are 8 issues sent out per year. Please allow until the 15th of the first month listed for each issue . The schedule for the magazines are: February, March, April, May/June, July/August/September, October/ November, and December/January.
As for all the adds and new product this time of year is when they list all the new products for the coming year that were at Icast and other manfacturer shows. hasn't changed in the 16 years since I sighed up

The last time I saw a response from the club in here was when this latest "upgrade" to the site showed up. BTW...this has to be the worst performing version yet. It seems that now I've joined the members who can't get the PM system to work. |

I get In-Fisherman and im pretty sure it comes more often and on time ( I received the last NAFC mag a month late) also it is higher quality magazine with not a whole lot of ads. the NAFC mag. has gone downhill since I joined. |

If you look, what I said was that In-Fisherman was published in a SIMILAR manner and made no attempt to compare the two magazines in terms of quality. Every magazine I see these days has had less and less content and a higher percentage of ads. Many magazines have stopped publishing altogether and either closed up shop completely or gone to an electronic only format. |

I see that the mag is now offered on-line, as well as in hard copy. I would certainly be surprised if NAFC continues the print mag much longer. Maybe a year? 6 months? In any case, I see the print going away in the not too distant future. Tight lines, Salty Dan |

It is Published in a similar manner, but the in-Fish magazine is better run than this one. The In-fish magazine also has at least 6 articles per issue and they are not just ads for various lures. sorry to rant but I was not impressed by the recent magazine. |

I have also noted a new tendency towards advertising that is not in any way outdoors related, both in the magazine and online. I can deal with the truck ads, heck, ya gotta pull the boat somehow, but some of the ads are just a bit to far from outdoors related. Almost like reading the National Enquirer at times! |
