Could we possibly add a bowfishing topic on this website? That would be pretty cool. I know i'm not the only person on here that enjoys the sport of bowfishing.           Thanks

I've always wanted to get a bowfishing rig, just haven't done so... yet. What would you recommend for a beginner? I am looking at the AMS Fish Hawk kit as it appears to have everything I'll need to start from scratch.

Anything from AMS is good. They are really a good company. But you could also just get a zebco 88 reel, and spool it with bowfishin string then just buy you a bowfishing arrow. The AMS rig is a better deal because it comes with the mounting brackets. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Good luck to you. this summee
