The question I have is when entering the daily Click and Win & the Gear Giveaway contests on line I was able to click on each one more than once. I found this out by accident. Does more than one entry count per day/24 hour period if a member does click more than once? If so I believe it is unfair to those who do only enter once a day. If someone can sit and click on each contest several times a day then others don't stand much of a chance of winning. Now do they? Just trying to make it fair for everyone to enter. Thanks.

You can click the enter buttom to your hearts content, but the site will only accept one entry per 24 hour period.

I once entered the Gear Giveaway literally about 3000 times in one month because I wanted to win the KVD shoes they were giving away. Needless to say, I did not win. So I am assuming entering multiple times in a 24 hour period is ineffective and will not increase your chances of winning.

The way that i read it is that the gear give away says you can enter as many times as you want. The click and win says you can only enter one time per day..So if you have the time you can enter the gear give away all day long and they will all count.Maybe some one from the club will see this and shed some light on this,but it's not on face book so i won't hold my breath....JOHN

Well, then how come when they were giving away like 40 pairs of those KVD shoes the approximately 3000 entries I submitted did not register a win? Bad luck perhaps? Rigged contests? Only being able to enter once a day? You be the judge.

Hello everyone, I just went to both contest and looked at the rules for both,click and win also gear giveaway they both say multiple entries are alloud but must be enterd separately so if you got the time you can enter as many times as you want....JOHN

It would be nice if the club staff would chime in on this, but I don't believe that either one will count more than one entry per day.  Yes, you can enter more than once, but I don't think more than once per day counts as more than one entry for that day.  Again, it would be nice if the club staff would chime in on this.

You won the shoes!? Maybe I should have entered 4000 times....

It used to say that only one entry per day was allowed---but that was a while back. At that time, it would automatically give you a one per day "popup" if you tried to enter more than once.

Got an answer straight from the top -- only one entry per day is allowed for Click & Win and Gear Giveaway. Our IT people are working on the website to fix the problem mentioned in this thread. -- Web Guy Greg

Greg, Can I give you another suggestion for your IT crew to address while you have the opportunity, consolidate your domains. When you get email notifications from the forums depending on the address the member uses when they log in the link to the forum in the email varies domains. Plus some are prefixed with 'www' but not always required. Here's some domains I see come through in the emails;

fishingclub.com
nafc.com
nafishingclub.com
northamericanfishingclub.com

Times two because it might or might not need to have 'www' which is a whole different domain entry. Basically if you have cached login credentials, then you have to set up logins for each one of these domains or pass out to your cached login and browse back to the forum. A simple redirect should do the trick.

It's not the end of the world, but it's one of those little improvements that can make the user experience better.

Wow! Today was the third day in a row that I was able to enter the gear giveaway. I'm rarely able to enter it, I usually get error messages. The click & win I never have a problem with.

If you don't have anything better to do than continuously click on the contest maybe you SHOULD win something just to get you out the door and fishing with your prize!
