I clicked on a tab that says "activate" between the contest and fishin informer tabs. I clicked on it and it says thank you for re-activating your member benefits and saying that you wish to continue receiving member benefits. What is this?? I never asked to de-activate my member benefits. What is this tab and what is going on?

Good question! I saw that a few times before and didn't think much of it. But I just clicked it and it said the same thing. I have no idea what it means.

It looks to me like another way for the club to push life membership. I absolutely love this club but they do really try to sell life memberships and this just looks like another outlet for them to do so.

Kinda fishy.... Why are they de-activating our member benefits then making us click on something to re-activate them?
I would like an explanation from NAFC staff.

It is to activate your benefits at least that's what it said when I activated it but it also said I was already activated . But it never hurts to make sure . Just like the field test thing they updated the layout and I found out I was no longer registered but its been a while sense i checked my status. AH UPDATES got to love them . LOL

I can only presume that it is to upgrade ones new benefits, say i am a trail member and become a life member or a trophy member then my benefits don't go into effect unless i activate them .
which you would think would be automatic, But i guise it is another way to say unless you activate your benefits we don't have to give them to you .

Don't ya just love this site? Out of the clear blue sky drops this "activate" heading...no warning...no explanation...and then you complete it and it says you're already activated. I suppose it will
disappear
some time just like it
appeared.

i hadn't notice it until i got a post card telling me i had to hit it in order to keep my benefits
i also notice that i too wasn't enrolled anymore for field testing products. then when i filled out their form again, i noticed that the ?'s are more generalized then before
