I am a life member and I am looking for info on a lure I heard about. My understanding is that has a compartment of some type that you put a scent pad inside of. Have you heard of one and if so who makes it and what is it called?

I haven't heard of a lure designed for a scent pad, but I have heard of people drilling holes in crankbaits and putting pipe cleaners soaked in scent in the holes and from what I've heard it works really well, so if you can't find the lure you're looking for, you might want to try that.

That’s an interesting idea skewl. The only thing that I would be worried about is if you drill a hole in the crank it might mess up the action of the bait. Other than that though, I think I might try doing that with one just to see if I get any other reaction out of it. I found this I don’t know if that Is what you are talking about . but here

A couple of points. Make sure your bait is solid before drilling. Balance is something to consider, and wouldn't a bit of sponge on your line ahead of the lure work as well?
