Thanks for bringing the show, and this forum for us. Lord knows I love Bass fishing and Golf. Can't do either as well as I wished, but I have my moments here and there. I'm interested in learning either all of the time!!!!

The old fishing pros on TV that just show the hookset of the ones we wished we could get to bite, has gotten old for me and I rarely watch them anymore (well, ok, maybe half watch). A young venture outside of the box has my attention. Keep the focus on how, why, when, with your thoughts of the process along the way so I can learn from it, and you've got a winner in your part show, and in my part veiwer, that want's to know. Is that Knot (just a pun) a Win Win?

Hello, Arlon & welcome to the Forums.

As far as informational fishing shows, our Club's show is good (so's the magazine).  Reading these Forums regularly also will add to your knowledge.  All of the guys on here are nice guys who are more than willing to reveal what they know & tell you the tricks & tips that'll make fishing more fun & more productive for you.  You should also check out the following TV shows in addition to all of the above (& it'd probably be a good idea to record them, because they usually give out a ton of info & you could miss a lot of it).  Check your local listings for times & days:

    1. Lindner's Angling Edge.  The Lindner brothers have their act together when it comes to fishing.  They know exactly what they're talking about, & love sharing what they know with us blue collars.  Any time one (or more) of them decides to share their knowledge, I listen up & listen close.  If you miss the other two shows I list, at least do not miss this one.

    2. In-Fisherman Television.  Started by the Lindners, the guys that run it now have carried on the tradition established by Al & Ron, & they also put out episodes jam-packed with useful info & insights.

    3. Babe Winkelman's Good Fishing.  Besides being one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, Babe is also highly knowledgable about fishing for all species, & he also loves to share what he knows.  If you ever meet him, it's kind of cool, because you can't talk to the guy for two minutes before he starts giving out tips!  And like I said, a likable, friendly man in the bargain.

Hope I helped you a little.  Again, welcome to the Boards, & if you just joined the North American Fishing Club, welcome to the Club, too.  Tight lines.

Keep the line fresh, the hooks sharp, and have fun fishing. God bless you. -Sonny, Life Member since 2002
