Sounds like a good idea, but not likely to happen any time soon. For a fishing show to attract viewers, the fishing needs to be quite productive. |

A fishing show should be done where there are diferent species so everone can help with tips andsuch also sponcers should be presant to show there wares. The problem is where should it take place. There's people from all over the U.S. in the club then theres travel arrangments and the list go's on andon I love the idea but alot harder than said. I love to have it in Lansdowne and show some off my holes but it's not big enough to hold an event off this size. hoe.ver takes this on will have there work cut out for them. Then theres publicity. Good Luck. If theres any thing I can do to help Ill try Jstratton3 |

They should have five average fisherman compete in a tournament to win a prize like a new rod and reel, or some new baits. Or even a free one year membership to the club. |

I can't seem to find the show on versus any more. Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't there. All the fishing shows I watch, not just NAFC, show the constant catching of BIG fish. Where the h*ll are these fish?? I wonder how long it really takes to fish them. Are they caught previously and set on the hooks just so we can see them being landed? I think it would be cool to see some real time fishing, showing fish not being caught, almost landed, other fish than what is desired being caught, etc. I know very few people who catch only the fish they are fishing for, and so often! LOL I also think it would be neat to see someone fishing in a steel flat bottom boat, like lots of us have, with a 25 - 30 hp engine, instead of in a $50,000 bass boat, with a 2,000 hp deluxe-auto drive, with 13 different trolling motors, each only to be used on a particular type of waters, and pulled by a $50,000 dually, to a private fishing camp, where catching only record breaking fish of the species desired can be caught. Oh well, guess that isn't interesting enough to be on YV! Tight lines, Salty Dan Orange Texas
