Hello, my name is matt peace i am from ogden utah.
this is my first post as i am not very active in posting on forums but i felt the need to introduce myself.
I would like to say i have read alot of negative crap on here but after getting to the nitty gritty of it it is always
people complaining about not getting the free stuff, I must admit that was the original reason for me to sign up as my brother is a life member as well but after receiving the first couple mags i dont really care about the free stuff as there has been
some info that i have found usefull in them. I look at it as if there is something that i can use to help me better my fishing experiance and i get a mag that will help me in this aspect and i dont have to worry about the bill every year well its worth it.
I have also read some usefull info here on the forums. I will also say i have not received any of my free stuff except a pack of hooks which i can always use, and im not sitting around fuming to myself wondering where all this free stuff i was promised is as i have already goten my moneys worth.
As an end thank you to the people that have posted usefull info on here and i hope to meet a few new people in my area
that enjoy fishing.

welcome to the club matt and that is a great frame of mind to have. you are right about there has been allot of neg. things being said. but you are also right that there are allot of great people in here too.

and yes i hope you do find some of these great people near you and have a gt with them.

Welcome to the forums.  I too learn a lot of my fishing knowledge from the magazines.

Welcome to the club matt and well said the information in the mags and what you can get from alot of the great members on the forums is great!  It is great to have a place you can go with your questions and get know how from so many different anglers. In the short time I have been a member I have gotten tons of good info from fellow members.

HI Matt.  welcome to the club and the forum. Im 30 minutes south on I15 from you in the south end of the salt lake valley. some of us utah members have been talking about getting together, at least informally. make sure to visit the Utah section of this forum to see whats been going on. It has been a bit quite lately though. I agree with you 100% about the benefits of the club. The mag is great but its the people and the info that I have gained on this forum that has really made a difference. I have learned a whole bunch from these guys.
