Works for me. I use to fish with a buddy who is highly competitive. I don't think anyone enjoyed beating someone else fishing than him unless it was me. Most of our fishing took place in Coastal Georgia for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. He moved one up on me by tipping his jigs off with a piece of dead shrimp. I move back ahead by using scents but I sprayed them in the plastic bag they came in so he did not know what I was doing. I move even further ahead by slipping a beaded glass insert like bass fishermen do with a plastic worm. Somebody else moved ahead by using a popping court rig. Then the DNR moved ahead by putting a ridiculous creel limit which caused us to have to go to smaller ice chests. That's right, a 48 quart full of fish don't do justice to a 200 quart chest full of fish. Moved off shore for bigger thrill and regulatory committee followed to close certain reefs and shelfs.
