I was fishing a small feeder pond into a big lake. I threw my Boo Yah Buzzbait just before dark along a weededge. I fished it as slow as i could while still keeping it on the surface. Suddenly a big 5 .3 lbs Largemouth blew up on it. After a long fight. I waded past the thick weeds so he wouldnt come off. I got him in, weighed him and measured him then released him. This was my 1st truly big bass. It was a memorable experience i wont forget!

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. There will always be those catches or almost catches that will be with you for a lifetime.
