I have been fishing out of John's Pass, Florida for many years now. Right now there is a major catch rate of gag grouper and king fishout of there. The tarpon have started to slow down, but when you do get into one it is still one aggressive hit and one heck of a fight. I even got into a school of pompano there last night. Headed to the keys for Christmas, what should I expect at that time?

You can probably get into some nice tarpon, snapper, redfish, and grouper. It depends on where you go. There is a place in the keys that you can actually feed tarpon by hand. You should google it before you go down. I forget the name of the place, but it is definitely a great experience.
