The first story is my first time i ever caught a fish.

second is sort of a mystery story.

    third is sorta funny

    1. Well the first time i caught my fish was in around 2002, I think it was mid spring( In Florida, Its not cold in the spring)

I went fishing at a preserve around 15 miles from my house and i was 5 years old, For my early 5th birthday i got a zebco spincaster pole, It was blue.
I had been fishing on that floating dock all day, Mom said it was time to leave for lunch, I was pretty sad i hadent caught a fish all day, But i was 5 i dident know anything other than i dident catch a fish so i was reeling in my pole in sadness and my pole got harder to reel in, "Mom!" i said, i think i have a snag, She looked at my pole, She went ray you have a fish reel it in, Took me maybe 2 Minautes to reel it and and there it was, a baby pinfish, My first fish.

    2.
Same place as my first fish i caught, I love that place to death. It's called dutton island and its a wetland preserve. Anyways i was fishing on a gazebo that goes out onto the water and i fished there one week, No luck same back next week, No luck, Around 3 months ago a old man(More than likely retired) was fishing here, when i walked up onto the gazibo and i sat my gear next to me, I srated talking to him and we had a nice conversation, He was pulling in fish left and right, He was using the same bait, Same line but wait, He looked at my pole and said, "Young man your using the wrong kinda hook, He handed me a hook and said try this, And he left, So i said heck ill give it a try, I strung the hook on and put some slipshots on it, Tossed it out and BAM a Pound and a half pin fish, Now i was catching them left and right...

But everytime i go back there, I havent seen the old man in 2 or 3 years, But i thank god i still have the hook, And i forgot to ask the old man what his name was, But everytime i catch a fish with that hook, I think of the old man

    3.
So my cousins are down from ohio and they have never salt water fished, SO we took them out to pirate cove, A local place arpund 50 Miles away that it know to hold some sharks, Red fish, And some 5LB flounder, So we all throw our poles out, Withen 15 minutes a school of stingrays COME THROUGH eveyone's pole get's one except mine so im trowing it were they caight theres in a frantic matter to catch one, But i was too late, SO ic ast out maybe 30 feet wait and waitt and wait around 30 minutes latter my pole starts screaming i had a fish on, Brought it up and it was a 2 foot flounder and around 5 lb's, Needless to say, We ate good that night

Thanks for reading my storys,  My grammer is not the best, I have adhd and a touch of dislexia.

    Good job '151. Nice stories.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

Nice stories 151...take that hook out of your tackle box so you don't loose it. It seems it might have some sentimental value.

Makes me think back to my first fishing adventures! Never take for granted where you live at, people like me would have to spend a couple thousand for a vacation to a place like that to fish!
Early to bed…early to rise…fish all day…make up lies!
