Your members will be surprised at the great fishing in southern Hudson valley that NYC water shed provides from Westchester County, Putnam, Rockland to Delaware river headwaters in New York State. Sure it's a challenge, but if anyone can do it, the club should!!! May God Bless and allow you to produce great 5#brookies (Dutchess County Sodom reservoir), 5#rainbows & 20#browns from Glenada & 40"pike from Giliad nearby in Carmel, NY & walleye @ west branch. Big lakers outside Yonkers @ Kensaco reservoir. Love to hear from our Executive Director!

Sharon, don't get your hopes up!  Personally, I'll believe it when I see it.  These are established fisheries and you could make a difference and what about the hundreds of lakes created by mining different minerals.  They should be stocked all over the country as a part of the recovery of land act.  There's no limit to the great fishing that could be provided to the public at very little cost of upkeep.  They should not be holding ponds for company execs but ordinary people who make those companies what they are.  Come on Steve, show us how to get in on the political side--anybody with money can buy a bass boat and shoot a rooster tail as we fly along.  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

I saw an artical about these reservoirs a few years ago. The fishing was great. The trick is, the boats can't have combustion engines, so they have large electric motors, up to 50hp, with a sterndrive. They are very quiet, so it's the best of both worlds.
