There used to be a "link" for the Chat Room on this site somewhere, darn if I can find it again!  Why hasn't the club re-established the Chat Room which was a great spot for members to get together and just have a regular Bull-session.  I know under the old format, many of us "older members" worked awfully hard to have this room placed on the site.  Once in a while even Kurt wold pop in for a Bull-Session and discuss some of the "concerns of members", and believe it or not some of these concerns were handled and taken care of this way.  It wold be nice if this could be established once again!    I'm pretty sure that if a "decent connection" was placed somewhere on the HOME PAGE it would be utilized once again.

I know you are not "in charge" of this  area, BUT you helped us out in thenpast when you visited the old vchat room.  We are asking for some help and support on returning the chat room to the club site with a link on the Home Page.  Hope you read this thread once in a while.

I notified the website folks and asked them to remove the check.

Also asked for a status update on personal messaging and chatroom, and will share what I hear.

I know some folks have contacted Kurt Beckstrom  to resolve some issues they've had .  try sending him a pm  perhaps he can straighten things out for you .

Gee!  Does the question mark on this topic indicate that even the "IT" People do not know how to set up the chat room that we have been asking for?  Hey Kurt are you reading any of this??

This thread has been on going since July 5th and no response from the club yet, other than Kurt sending it to the IT people. I don't think it will happen. They(higer up's) don't care if we have a chat room or not. I joined another site so I can chat with other members and most are from here. It's sad no one listens to the mambers that made this club what it is today.

chat room 1 mebo chat room has a whose in chat room  list   you can change the guest  number to a name but  it said nick name not excepted but it did take it the way i typed it any way  .  perhaps a bit harder for some to use as it lets you modify it .

chat room 2  is straight forward and  simple and easy to use  but dose not say who is in the chat room if you could add a list that would be a simple straight forward room .

some things I would like in a chat room , a list of whose on.
A way to change text colour and size , perhaps a icon for the user but not that important.
A way to turn sound on and off  like when some one enters the room .
More important though  would be a tabbed link on the web sight under forums so members would know  one exists .

I checked both of them out, But I would not have without Davesett2000 posting the address in this thread. I don't understand why we should have to go a www. address just to chat. Why can't the club just add a chat button to access a chat room.
Room # 1 I felt was not very user friendly. It took me several minutes to figure it out. Didn't like it
Room # 2 It was easier to get in, but needs a list of who is in the room. If I have to keep putting in an email address to access it I woun't use it.
